Whether you are a recent graduate looking for a first step into TESOL teaching, to make a career or to travel, or if you are seeking a career change or you are currently working as a teacher and wish to gain this universally accepted qualification for career progression – the Trinity CertTESOL is for you.
The Trinity CertTESOL qualification is designed for those who wish to pursue a teacher role in the TESOL and related sectors. No previous work experience is required for enrolling to the Course.
The following is the eligibility criteria for the Course:
- All candidates must be a minimum of eighteen years old at the time of initial assessment. There is no upper age limit.
- Entrants must have a standard of education that would allow entry to Higher Education in their own country or equivalent experience and Eurospeak will need to see originals of qualification certificates.
- Applicants also must have an awareness of language and a competence in both written and spoken English that will enable them to undertake the course and prepare for teaching a range of levels.
- Non-native applicants will be asked to provide evidence of their competence in the language in the form of a formal English language qualification. (Acceptable qualifications for non-native speakers are IELTS Band 7.0, Cambridge Proficiency Grade B or above).
Before candidates are accepted on the course, there is an initial assessment of their suitability for the proposed course of study. This includes an oral interview and a written assessment.
